Captain Matt



Capt. Matt Reitzell grew up in the small town of Colfax, LA, just north of Alexandria.  A love of the outdoors started at a young age and hunting and fishing with his grandfather, dad, and area friends became a passion to be pursued on weekends or any time he could get away from school or work.

​

After graduating from ULM with a degree in Construction Management in 2000, he became a construction professional with work performed all over the Gulf Coast, Texas, and Utah.  This part of his life continues to this day.  It was his life in the construction industry that eventually led him to SE Louisiana where he discovered the world class inshore fishing that led him to become a professional charter captain

Matt is happily married to his wonderful wife Lisa and has two beautiful daughters.
